World Heritage Site, Nikko Toshogu Shrine
「Shogun Chakuza-no-ma」Special Prayer and Lunch Plan

A Shinto priest or a shrine maiden will guide you the shrine precinct

This is a plan including Nikko Toshogu Shrine tour, special prayer,
and lunch at Nikko Senhime Monogatari.
「Shogun Chakuza-no-ma」is a very precious place which was used as a waiting room dedicated to Shogun (general) only to get ready for the worship. Visitors are not allowed to enter this room usually.
After the special prayer, you can enjoy your lunch at Nikko Senhime Monogatari (hotel).
The lunch is 「Yuba Gozen (bean curd skin meal)」 which used a specialty of Nikko, 「Nikko Yuba」

Check Point

▶You can experience a special prayer at「Shogun Chakuza-no-ma」which doesn’t allow visitors to enter usually.

▶You will receive a commemorative gift from Nikko Toshogu Shrine.

▶You can take a day trip to the hot springs at a special rate.

※One-day pass for the hot springs・・・1,100yen including tax・Please make the payment on that day(Standard fee 1,650yen).

※It’s including a rental fee for a face towel and a bath towel.

  8:30　　　Depart JR Utsunomiya Station

  9:30　　　Arrive at Nikko Toshogu Shrine

10:00　　　■Special prayer (About 1 hour and 45 minutes)

　　　　　　～Kyakuden (guest hall)・Shrine Office

　　　　　　※The order of tour contents may change depending on circumstances.

12:00　　　Head to Nikko Senhime Monogatari (hotel), Lunch (About 1 hour)

　　　　　　After lunch, Dismiss

　　　　　　※If you go to the hot springs, please continue enjoying your plan.

13:15　　　Leave Nikko

14:30　　　Arrive at JR Utsunomiya Station, Dismiss

　　　　　　※We don’t accept the special prayer only.
