AKIMO's products are grown beside the gentle, pure waters of the Kinugawa River, which runs through Utsunomiya City. The company was founded as Kinugawa Foods Co., Ltd. in 1960. Then from 2006 as AKIMO Co., Ltd., they carried on business under the theme of "vegetables"—a topic that has reflected changing consumer trends worldwide. Vegetables are an indispensable ingredient for our health. Domestically grown vegetables are brought in from all regions of Japan. Then at factories that operate under strict sanitary guidelines and regulated temperatures, products are carefully made and shipped out each day.
●During the AKIMO factory tour at the staff facility, participants receive a company introduction and a glimpse of the production area, visible from a dedicated visitor passageway. Participants can also taste freshly-made factory products.
●This program can be enjoyed by people of all ages, from small children to adults. So, by all means, please feel free to join our tour.
