Winery Tour and Tasting Seminar
COCO FARM & WINERY makes wine from Japanese grapes with the help of people with intellectual disabilities. At the brewery, high-quality wines are produced under the motto "We make wine based on the kind of wine the grapes are best suited for." Their wine is regularly served at international conferences and on international flights. Winery tours are also available. Tour contents can be arranged to meet the needs of the tour participants and highlight the winery's history and operations, including the actual wine-making process.
Check Point
●During tours, we share the winery's history, philosophy, and operations. The story starts at the initial establishment of Kokoromi Gakuen, a facility for students with intellectual disabilities, to the steps leading to the winery's creation. This also includes the wine-making process, from harvesting the grapes to the final product.
●After the winery tour, there will be a wine tasting session.
Tour Details
Winery Tour: About 45 minutes
Staff will escort tour participants to the vineyard and brewery. Then a talk is given introducing the history of COCO FARM & WINERY and its mission and philosophy.
Wine Tasting: About 15 minutes
Tour participants can also enjoy sampling COCO FARM & WINERY's various wines during a special wine tasting.
Winery Tours (including wine tasting, food, etc.)
1) Winery tour and wine tasting (5 varieties): 500 yen + 1,000 yen = 1,500 yen
2) Winery tour and wine tasting (8 varieties): 500 yen + 1,500 yen = 2,000 yen
3) Winery tour and wine tasting (12 varieties): 500 yen + 2,300 yen + 4,200 yen = 7,000 yen
*(Tour 3) is for groups of 10-30 people.
